My name is Suzanne Lufadeju. I was Justice Holland’s Wolcott Fellow in 2010 and his law clerk in 2011. At that point in my career, Justice Holland believed in me more than I believed in myself. He was my first mentor and advocate. It took years for me to come into my own, to recognize my strengths and know my value.

When I last saw him before the pandemic, he was proud to see my growth and confidence and that I was thriving in my career.

His impact inspires me to pay it forward. I enjoy helping others recognize their potential. Planting that seed of confidence, as he did for me and countless others, is how I will continue to honor Justice Holland.
